Who is Edward Johnson, III?

Edward Crosby Ned Johnson III was born on June 29, 1930. He is an investor and businessman who runs Fidelity Investments with his daughter, Abigail Johnson. He graduated from Harvard in 1954 with a Bachelors degree. He began his career as a research analyst in 1957 at Fidelity Investments, a company founded by his father (Edward C. West II). He became president of the company in 1972 and chairman/CEO in 1977. His hometown is Boston, MA.
