Who was Folke Rogard?
Bror Axel Folke Per Rogard was a Swedish lawyer and chess official.
He was born in Stockholm. He was Vice-President of the international chess governing body, FIDE, from 1947 to 1949 and then succeeded Alexander Rueb as President. He held the post until succeeded by Max Euwe in 1970.
