Who was Henry (VII) of Germany?
Henry (VII) was King of Sicily from 1212, Duke of Swabia from 1216, and King of Germany from 1220. He was the son and co-king of Emperor Frederick II and elder brother of Conrad IV of Germany. He was the seventh Henry to rule Germany, but in order to avoid confusion with Henry VII, Holy Roman Emperor, he is usually numbered Henry (VII).
