Who is Jim Matheson?
James David "Jim" Matheson is the current U.S. Representative for Utah's 4th congressional district. He previously represented the 2nd district from 2001 until 2013. He is a member of the Democratic Party and currently holds the distinction of representing a more Republican-leaning district than any other Democratic member of Congress.
On December 17, 2013, Matheson announced he will not seek reelection in the 2014 elections.
