Who is John L. Morrison?

John L. Morrison, also known as Jack, co-founded Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison Inc. in 1989 and serves as its Managing Director. Mr. Morrison serves as Managing Director of Marathon Fund Limited Partnership V, Marathon Fund Limited Partnership IV, Marathon Fund I/II, L.P. and Marathon Fund VI, L.P. He served as Executive Vice President of The Pillsbury Company, LLC. From 1976 to 1989, Mr. Morrison served in a variety of senior positions at the Pillsbury company for a period of 15 years, holding positions in finance, international operations including Executive Vice President and Chairman of the U.S. Consumer Foods Group from 1987 to 1989; President at Pillsbury International Group from 1981 to 1989; President at Pillsbury De Mexico from 1979 to 1981; and the Chief Financial Officer at Pillsbury International Group from 1975 to 1979. From 1971 to 1976, he was the Vice President of Corporate Finance at Kidder Peabody Group Inc. (formerly, Kidder, Peabody and Company, in New York). Mr. Morrison launched his career on Wall Street. He Co-founded Callanish Capital Partners in 2001 and serves as its Chairman. He also Co-founded and serves as Chairman of Callanish Capital, LLC. He has been a Director of Hormel Foods Corporation since November 21, 2011 and previously served the same position since November 25, 2003. He serves as Lead Director and Director of Andersen Corporation. Mr. Morrison serves as Director of Allen Edmonds Shoe Corporation, RTI Remmele Engineering, Inc. and Petermann Holding Co., LLC. Mr. Morrison served as Director of American Engineered Components, Inc., Claire-Sprayway, Inc. and Woodcraft Industries, Inc. He is also a Member of the Presidential Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board in Washington, D.C. Mr. Morrison served as Director of Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) from 2002 to 2005 and Michael Foods, Inc. since 2001. From 2005 to 2008, he served on the Presidential Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board. Mr. Morrison community positions, past and present, include being a Member of the Board of Directors of, YMCA; the Minneapolis Club; and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. A college hockey All-American at Yale, he was a Member of the 1968 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team. Mr. Morrison holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale University.
