Who is Jonathan Sheinberg?
Jonathan Sheinberg is an American film producer.
Jonathan Sheinberg is the son of lawyer and film executive Sid Sheinberg and actress Lorraine Gary. His brother is producer Bill Sheinberg.
Sheinberg began his career in 1990 co-producing Steven Seagal's Hard to Kill. Through the 90s, he produced films like Innocent Blood, Passenger 57, Flipper, The Pest, McHale's Navy, A Simple Wish, and For Richer or Poorer. The next decade, he worked on documentaries and TV shows.
Through his career, Sheinberg has worked as Director of Broadcast Promotions for Motion Pictures at Columbia Pictures, Director of Creative Affairs at 20th Century Fox, Director of Movies and Mini Series at Lorimar Television, and Head of Production of Orion Pictures. He was also President of Lee Rich Productions located at Warner Brothers and Senior Vice President of the Motion Picture Literary department of William Morris Agency. Sheinberg currently runs a production company with his father called The Bubble Factory. He also founded The Machine and The Movie Machine a production and consulting company that works in Hollywood.
Sheinberg has been married to actress Susan Ursitti since 1993.
