Linda Day was an American television director, working for the most part in situation comedies.
Day was born as Linda Brickner in Los Angeles, the daughter of Roy Brickner, a film editor.
In addition to an Emmy Award nomination, Day received a Humanitas prize and was honored by the DGA for paving the way for women in television. The native of Los Angeles worked on more than 350 episodes and 50 series.
