Who was Lord Colum Crichton-Stuart?
Lord Colum Edmund Crichton-Stuart was a British Conservative Party politician. He served as Member of Parliament for the Northwich constituency in Cheshire from 1922 to 1945.
He was the son of John Crichton-Stuart, 3rd Marquess of Bute.
In 1943 he gifted Pluscarden Abbey and its land to the Benedictine Prinknash Abbey.
