Who is Lucy-Jo Hudson?

Lucy-Jo Hudson is a British actress, best known for playing the role of Katy Harris in the long-running soap opera, Coronation Street from 2002–05, and as Rosie Trevanion in the ITV drama Wild at Heart from 2006–09, who returned for the last series in 2012.

Hudson attended Garforth Community College in Leeds, England, now known as Garforth Academy.

Wild at Heart debuted in January 2006 where Lucy-Jo starred until departing during Series 4 in 2009. She rejoined the cast for Series 7 and the show's finale, which was broadcast on 30 December 2012.

Before landing her role in Coronation Street she worked in a fancy dress shop - Fantasy World in York. She also had a recurring role on Loose Women during 2005.

Her brother Ryan Hudson is a rugby league player, and the captain of the Castleford Tigers. She is also close friends with X Factor contestant Carolynne Poole.

Hudson is married to Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall who plays the role of Tyrone Dobbs. On 18 February 2013, Lucy-Jo and Alan announced via twitter they were expecting their first child and later found out that they were expecting a girl.
