Who was Magdalena Sibylle of Saxe-Weissenfels?

Magdalena Sibylle of Saxe-Weissenfels was a German noblewoman.

She was a daughter of August, duke of Saxe-Weissenfels, and his wife Anna Maria of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Her paternal grandparents were John George I, Elector of Saxony, and Magdalene Sibylle of Prussia.

On 14 November 1669, she married Duke Friedrich I of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg. They had the following children:

Anna Sophie, married Ludwig Friedrich I, Duke of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt..

Dorothea Marie, married Ernst Ludwig I, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen

Friedrich II, Duke of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg.

Johanna, married Adolphus Frederick II, Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz
