Who is Margarita Popova?
Margarita Stefanova Popova is Bulgarian jurist, prosecutor, educator who has been Vice President of Bulgaria since 2012. She previously served as Minister of Justice from July 27, 2009 to September 4, 2011 in the cabinet of Boyko Borisov. As the running mate of presidential candidate Rosen Plevneliev in the October 2011 presidential election, she was elected as Vice President and took office in January 2012.
