Who is Marian Goodman?
Marian Goodman Gallery is the eponymous contemporary art gallery of owner Marian Goodman. Goodman opened the Marian Goodman Gallery on East 57th Street in 1977 and relocated to its current address on West 57th Street in 1981. Marian Goodman Gallery represents a number of substantial contemporary artists, including the artist who holds the record for the most expensive sale of an art work for a currently living artist Gerhard Richter.
