Who is Maureen Chiquet?

Maureen Chiquet is a St.Louis native that is the Global CEO of the French design house, Chanel. Maureen graduated from Yale University with a BA in comparative Literature in 1985. Soon after she started her career in the fashion industry by joining Lreal in Paris as an intern. After 3 years she joined Gap Inc. and worked to build up Old Navy then Banana Republic as its President in 2002. She Moved to Chanel in 2003 and was named Global CEO in January 2007.
