Who is Maurice Edu?
Edu Maurice Edu, Jr. is an American soccer player who plays for Philadelphia Union on loan from Stoke City and the United States national team.
Edu began his career with Major League Soccer side, Toronto FC and in his first season he won the MLS Rookie of the Year Award. His performances for Toronto earned him international call ups to the United States national team and the attentions of clubs in Europe. He signed for Scottish team Rangers for a fee of £2.6 million. He spent four seasons at Ibrox winning the Scottish Premier League three times. Following Rangers' financial problems he joined Stoke City in August 2012.
