Who is Michael Colyar?
Michael Colyar is an American comedian and motivational speaker. He is mostly known as the heavy-hitting concert promoter "Showboat" in the 1994 movie, House Party 3. Colyar also spent his formative years as a comic, busking on Venice Beach.
In 1990, Colyar won the $100,000, "Star Search" grand-prize in the Comedian category and promptly donated $50,000 of his winnings to benefit the homeless on Venice Beach.
He voiced Buford in the Disney film The Princess and the Frog.
On March 29, 2010, Colyar appeared on The Mo'Nique Show demonstrating a new twist on his routine, incorporating inspirational tales into his comedy.
Later in 2010 Colyar will co-star in Snoop Dogg's Malice N Wonderland companion film alongside Soulja Boy and Xzibit.
