Who is Mundzuk?
Mundzuk was a Hunnic prince and brother of Hunnic rulers Octar and Rugila. Mundzuk was also father of Attila the Hun and Bleda. He is briefly mentioned in Jordanes: "Now this Attila was the son of Mundiuch, and his brothers were Octar and Ruas who are said to have ruled before Attila, though not over quite so many tribes as he." Nothing else is known about his personality. Hungarian legend has Mundzuk as a descendant of Nimrod.
