Who is Richard Zedník?
Richard Zedník is a retired Slovak professional ice hockey winger. He has played in the National Hockey League for the Washington Capitals, Montreal Canadiens, New York Islanders, and Florida Panthers.
He is known for sustaining and surviving a life-threatening injury during a February 2008 game in which a falling teammate's skate sliced his external carotid artery.
