Who was Rolan Bolan?
Rolan Seymour Feld Bolan (September 26, 1975 - ) is a musician in the band Rolan Bolan and the Brothers Bounce. He is the son of Marc Bolan, the lead singer/guitarist of 1970s British rock band T. Rex, and soul singer Gloria Jones. Bolan is from Los Angeles. His music is an eclectic mix of rock and hip hop. In 2002 he unveiled a bronze bust of his father at Bolan's Rock Shrine in Barnes, London.In 2005, he presented the documentary "Cosmic Rock: When T. Rex Ruled the World", that was included on DVD releases of the Born to Boogie film his father starred in along with Ringo Starr. As of 2006, his commercial breakthrough has not occurred, and he remains better known as the son of his iconic father.
