Who was Ross McWhirter?

Alan Ross McWhirter, known as Ross McWhirter, was, with his twin brother, Norris, the co-founder of The Guinness Book of Records and a contributor to The Record Breakers. He was assassinated by the Provisional Irish Republican Army.
