Who is Sachet Engineer?
Sachet Engineer born May 15, 1995, is an Indian actor and a swimmer. He is best known for his role as Yohaan Awasthi in the 2007 Bollywood film, Taare Zameen Par. He is the grandson of water polo champion, Ishwar Girdharlal Engineer.
He is attending Campion School, Mumbai. A member of the Otters Club, he won his first gold medal in swimming at the age of 5. He has won a number of swimming medals since that time including four gold medals at the "36th Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association Championship" in 2009 and five gold medals and a silver at the "27th Otters" in 2010. He has also competed in seven nationals. Engineer is currently focusing on his studies and hopes to eventually compete with the national squad. He also hopes to one day compete in the Olympics and is thinking of becoming a pilot, though he is open to future modeling and acting like the swimmer/actor Johnny Weissmuller.
