Who was Sardar Ujjal Singh?
Sardar Ujjal Singh was an Indian politician who served as the Governor of Punjab, followed by Governor of Tamil Nadu from. Prior to this he was a participant in the First Round Table Conference, opened officially by King George V on November 12, 1930.
His elder brother was Sir Sobha Singh, the principal contractor during the construction of New Delhi, 1911–1930, and uncle of writer Khushwant Singh. .
