Who was Seiyō Ogawa?
Seiyō Ogawa is a Japanese photographer, printer, and publisher who was a pioneer in photography of Buddhist sculptures and cultural properties in the Taisho and Showa eras. The name Seiyō is a pseudonym which was given to him from his master Maruki Riyō; his real name was Seiji.
