Who was Sonia Cubitt, Baroness Ashcombe?
Sonia Rosemary Cubitt, Baroness Ashcombe OBE DStJ was the daughter of The Hon. George Keppel and his wife, Alice and the grandmother of the Duchess of Cornwall. Violet Trefusis was her sister.
On 16 November 1920, she married Hon. Roland Cubitt, at the Guards Chapel of Wellington Barracks in London. They were divorced in 1947 after having had three children:
⁕Rosalind Maud Cubitt, who married Bruce Shand and whose daughter is Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

⁕Jeremy John Cubitt
Sonia died from osteoporosis in 1986.
