Who is Summer Glau?

From an early age, Summer trained to be a ballerina. Besides traditional ballet, she studied tango and flamenco. She danced at the Majestic Theatre.

Glau's first television credit was a guest role as a ballerina on the 2002 episode Waiting in the Wings of the television series Angel. There she caught the eye of director Joss Whedon, who later cast her in his critically acclaimed but ultimately short-lived TV series Firefly as the much traumatized River Tam After the Fireflys cancellation she appeared in several famous series such as Cold Case on the episode "Love Conquers Al" and in CSI in the episode episode What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?. She also had a small part in the MGM feature Sleepover as a Ticketgirl.

In 2005 she reprised her role as River Tam in the movie Serenity. 2006 she starred in the science fiction film Mammoth as Jack. And in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah a remake of a 1978 horror film as Lindsey Goodwin the (normal) sister of Sarah Goodwin (Mika Boorem) a young woman with mysterious powers.

In the second season of The Unit she was portraying Crystal Burns, the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart (Ex boyfriend Daniel Wisler), Glau also played Tess Doerner, a paranoid schizophrenic returnee in the second season premiere of The 4400 (episode "Wake-Up Call"), and became an essential recurring character from Season 3 onwards.

In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles that debuted January 13, 2008, Glau plays the role of Cameron Phillips, a terminator infiltration unit sent back to protect John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. Summer guest starred as herself in episode seventeen of the second season of The Big Bang Theory. 2009-2010 she joined the cast of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. She portrayed Bennett Halverson, the programmer for a rival Dollhouse in episodes 5,6,11 and 13 The Public Eye,The Left Hand,Getting Closer and Epitaph 2.

Summer played the lead actress Lindsey Forrest in Lifetime movie Deadly honeymoon that aired 25 April 2010. Summer Glau provide the voice in the animated movie "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse which was released on September 28 on DVD, Blu-ray, on demand and digital download. She also provide the voice for Super girl in the video game DC Universe Online. Summer Glau was a guest star on Chuck as Greta.

The Cape premiered on NBC during the 2010–2011 television season as a midseason replacement beginning with a 2-hour pilot episode on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 9pm Eastern and Pacific Time. NBC cut the total number of episodes to be aired from 13 to 10 as a result of low ratings. On March 2, 2011, NBC announced that the series finale would only be aired on the network's website. Summer Glau's character was the computer whiz Orwell.

Post-prod for late 2011 and early 2012 release is the western movie The Legend of Hell's Gate: An American Conspiracy and Joe Lynch's The Knights Of Badassdom a RPG comedy about a group of LARPers.

Summer Glau received 2005 Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Serenity

In 2008 she received a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
