Who was Thomas Rolfe?
Thomas Pepsironemeh Rolfe was the only child of Pocahontas by her English husband, John Rolfe. His maternal grandfather was Wahunsunacock, the chief of Powhatan tribe in Virginia. Thomas Rolfe made it possible for following generations, both in America and in England, to trace descent from Pocahontas.
