Who was Viventiolus?
Saint Viventiolus was the Archbishop of Lyon, from the year of 514. Later canonized, his Feast Day is July 12. He was the son of Aquilinus, Nobleman at Lyon, schoolfellow and friend of Sidonius Apollinaris, the grandson of ... of Lyon, who was a Vicarius of a Province in Gaul under the father of Sidonius Apollinaris between 423 and 448, and wife Tullia of Lyon, and the paternal grandson of Decimus Rusticus and wife Artemia, and also great-grandson of Eucherius of Lyon and wife Gallia? on his maternal line.
He was also the brother of St. Rusticus, Archbishop of Lyon.
