Who is Naïm Aarab?
Naïm Aarab is a Belgian-Moroccan professional football player. Aarab is a versatile player: he can play everywhere in defense, as well as in midfield. He plays for Hungarian outfit Újpest FC.
Aarab ran through the youth ranks of AFC Tubize and RSC Anderlecht before joining the reserves of NEC Nijmegen. He received his first professional contract − a one-year deal − with NEC in 2007. Aarab made his league debut in a 5–0 loss against PSV Eindhoven, as an 84th minute substitute for Jonas Olsson.
He decided to leave NEC Nijmegen after not reaching a new agreement, and joined Larissa in the Greek Super League.
On 23 July 2012, Aarab joined Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság I side Újpest FC on a four-year contract.
