Who is Stephanie J. Block?
Stephanie Janette Block is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her work on the Broadway stage, in numerous musicals such as The Boy from Oz, The Pirate Queen, Wicked, 9 to 5 and Anything Goes. She also played the title role in the Roundabout Theatre Company's 2012 revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, for which she received a Tony nomination for Best Performance By a Leading Actress in a Musical.
In addition to the Tony Award, Block has been nominated for four Drama Desk Awards and a Drama League Award, appeared on numerous cast recordings, and also released a solo album through PS Classics in June 2009. Her vocal range is mezzo-soprano.
