Who was Adolf Wolf?

Adolf Wolf was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Luftwaffe during World War II who commanded the 13. Flak Division. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Adolf Wolf was captured in 1945 by British troops and was held until 1948.
