Who is Adraxx?
Influenced by nearly all genres but with hip-hop as a mainstay, Richard Kojo Adraku, aka Adraxx, is a Ghanaian artist who prides himself with a dogged belief in purpose. He defines his art as one that places emphasis on word engineering that explores the nuances of reality. Drawing on a wildly eclectic musical tastes, he makes pieces that lean on lyrical weight and melodic ambition.
He counts J. Cole, Kanye West, Drake, Passenger, Noah β40β Shebib and Eminem, among others, as his major influences - influences spanning production, songwriting and engineering, the many hats that he wears.
His release, βA Man Like Meβ, offers a glimpse into his artistry, with foundations being built on vulnerability and honesty in a genre that makes little room for it.
