Who is Amy Weiss?

Amy Weiss is a rabbi and authority in teen sexuality education within Jewish thought and tradition. She is the founder and executive director of the Initiative for Jewish Women, where she has established the initiatives There's Only 1U, and Undies for Everyone.

Weiss's column, Parenting with Courage, appears every Friday in the Belief section of the Houston Chronicle. Her Houston Chronicle blog, Some Views from a Jew, offers perspectives on contemporary Jewish life in Houston and nationally.

Weiss also works as Director of Food and Nutrition for Houston Hillel.
