Who was Andrzej Zaucha?

Andrzej Zaucha was a Polish singer, actor.

Zaucha was born in Kraków. He was shot and killed there at the age of 42, by French film director, Yves Goulais, along with Goulais's ex-wife Zuzanna Lesniak-Goulais, whom he suspected of having an affair with Zaucha.

In his youth he trained canoeing. Polish championship in 1963, led by the foursome won a bronze medal in the junior category. In 1964, he won gold medals in the Polish Junior Championships in a single room and four.

Musically, he made his debut as a drummer in an amateur band fiends . Later, he became a soloist of the group Telstar . In the years 1968-1971 he was the lead singer jazzrock Dżamble groups . Occurred to her, among others, SFJ Jazz on the Odra River in Wroclaw 69 .

In 1971 he became involved with the team Anawa, with whom he recorded the LP Anawa .

In the years 1973-1979 he sang and played in bands entertainment abroad. Since 1980, he performed solo in music. He collaborated with jazz musicians, including Jaroslaw Cream, Michał Urbaniak and John Ptaszyn Wroblewski, and traditional jazz bands Old Metropolitan Band as a drummer, Beale Street Band and Playing Family as a singer .
