Who is Aniff Akinola?

Aniff Akinola is a writer,producer,artist and label owner from Manchester. He was a member of Backyard Dog whose song Baddest Ruffest made #15 on the UK Singles Chart was used as Coca Cola's 2002 FIFA World Cup theme in the UK and in the films Ali G Indahouse and Bend It Like Beckham.

On his other project The Ironweed Project he has to recorded 2 albums "Dustbowl" and "These Chains Ain't Gonna Hold Me" the track "Get A Little Dirty" was used as the theme song to Australian Channel 9 TV hi octane drama "RESCUE SPECIAL OPS" which ran for 3 series a total 39 episodes.

On his own, his song Bounce 'n' Boom featuring Big Babba - recorded under the alias of "Box Bottom" - made #46 on the UK Singles Chart and has been featured in an advert for Vimto soft drinks.

In addition, he co-wrote the A Guy Called Gerald hit Voodoo Ray and wrote and rapped on the Kirsty MacColl hit Walking Down Madison.

He also co-wrote Ian Browns track "Set My Baby Free" on his "Dolphin and Monkeys"
