Who is Antonio Soller?

Antonio Soller was a Portuguese pianist and composer.

He studied painting and music. In 1815, he settled in Porto, where he taught music and began a career as a composer. Later, he lived in France, Italy and Belgium, and in 1884, he dedicated a marcha titled Heroism to king Humbert. He composed various triumphal and funeral marches.
