Who is Aptullah Kuran?
Aptullah Kuran was a Turkish scholar expert on Ottoman architecture and founding president of Boğaziçi University. After graduation from Robert College he accepted Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees at Architecture in Yale. He returned to Robert College in 1968 and became the first president of it when Robert College converted to a state university by Turkish authorities.
