Who is BlakeShawn Music LLC?

Hailing from the scorching hot city of Phoenix, Arizona, BlakeShawn Music LLC born Blake Shawn McCowan-Martin (12/15/1999) is an American rapper & producer. Blake got his start in 2014 with a series of SoundCloud songs & mixtapes that would garner plays around his high school & other neighboring schools. Upon dropping out & pursuing his GED (High School Equivalent) in 2016/17, Blake would take to the stage performing at several local hip hop events in cities such as; Mesa, Tempe & Phoenix Arizona. These shows would solidify his label as rapper but, it wasn’t until 2018 that Blake would drop a series of breakout songs such as; “They Hatin’”, “Don’t Give Up”, “G3TAWAY” & his meme-rap hit “Suck My Dick”, pt. 1 & 2. Immediately after his hit “Suck My Dick”, in 2019, Blake followed it up with a number of successful tracks including; “Potent!”, “PTSD”, “Losing My Mind”, “LEMON HAZE feat. Dimillio”, “Kylie Jenner” & “Notorious B.I.G.”. In 2020 the barrage of new music didn’t stop. Blake kicked of the year with “St. Charles” followed by his compilation album “BlakeShawn$ March Madne$$, Vol 1”, the compilation included piles of archived rereleased music from 2017 forward & a few unheard joints from 2019 such as “Don’t Panic”. On July 4th of 2020 BlakeShawn dropped his debut studio album titled, “The BlakeShawn Project”; the project was an immediate success, accumulating well over 500,000 Spotify streams in 24 hours. The project eventually hit over 1,000,000 total streams across all platforms. In September 2020 Blake would drop his mixtape “21” which was initially meant to drop on his 21st birthday. The mixtape included the song “Hard! feat. Lil Noodle”. Without any delay Blake dropped the well-received song “CAP! feat. Chop The Chef, Diego Money & BeatsBySaturn”. BlakeShawn would collaborate with Texas native Diego Money a second time on the song “Money”, released on Halloween 2020, followed by a remix of the song featuring Philly-based rapper & collaborator of the late XXXTENTACION, Matt Ox in December 2020. BlakeShawn has adapted and tweaked his signature sound throughout the years; from hard-hitting boom nap inspired bars to Juice WRLD influenced melodic flows. But one thing remains certain, Blake’s continuing evolution, changing sound, and ear for collaboration & uniqueness puts him ahead of the pack & will continue to for years to come!
