Who is Brendan Sheerin?

Brendan Sheerin is a British international tour guide with 34 years of experience in the travel business, made famous by the reality TV show Coach Trip which is shown on Channel 4 in Britain and throughout Ireland.

He acts as a conventional travel guide for the contestants, as commentator on their conduct and as coordinator of the vote off. Depending on the length of the series, either 10, 15, 30 or 50 episodes, Sheerin appears in every programme.

Sheerin also appeared in pantomime for the first time in December 2010, and in 2012 Sheerin played the part of the baron at the Alhambra theatre in Bradford alongside Lynda Bellingham. Brendan is the former entertainments manager of The Spa, Scarborough. In 2011, Brendan released his autobiography titled "My Life: A Coach Trip Adventure".

On 13 September 2012, Sheerin announced in an interview that he had signed a deal to host a new dating show for Channel 4, titled 'Brendan's Love Boat'. Brendan's Love Cruise began broadcasting on More4 on 2 December 2013. A replacement show for Coach Trip, Brendan's Magical Mystery Tour, was aired on Channel 4 in 2013. After a one year break, Coach Trip returned in 2014 for a ninth series.
