Brian Briggs was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s and '60s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, England, and Yorkshire, and at club level for Stanley Rangers, York, Huddersfield, St. Helens, and Wakefield Trinity, as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.
