Who is Clement Adebamowo?

Clement Adebamowo was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and graduated BM ChB Hons from the University of Jos, Nigeria, having earned a distinction at every examination. He trained in Surgery and Oncology at the University College, Ibadan, Nigeria and at Harvard University where he earned a DSc. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons; Director of Office of Strategic Information, Research and Training, Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria; President of the Society of Oncology and Cancer Research of Nigeria; Convener of the Nigerian Research Consortium; Director of the Center for Bioethics, Nigeria; Director of the West African Framework Program on Global Health; and an Associate Professor of Epidemiology, University of Maryland, Baltimore. He is Editor in Chief of Bioethics Online Journal, Cancer in Africa Online Journal, Associate Editor of Frontiers in Oncology, and Contributing Editor to many other journals.
