Who is Craig Alexander?
Craig Alexander is an Australian triathlete who is the 2008, 2009 & 2011 Ironman Triathlon World Champion. He is the course record holder for the Ironman World Championship. He is also the winner of the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in 2006 and 2011.
Alexander attended Ashfield Boys High School and went on to study Anatomy and Physiology at university. In 2011, Alexander became the oldest men's winner of the Hawaiian Ironman world title. He crossed the finish line in 8:03:56, breaking the 8:04:08 record set by Belgian Luc Van Lierde in 1996.
