Who is Dan Bilzerian?

Daniel Brandon Bilzerian, an American poker player, businessman, and social media influencer, was born on December 7, 1980.

Paul Bilzerian, a corporate takeover expert, and Terri Steffen welcomed their son Bilzerian into the world on December 7, 1980 in Tampa, Florida. He is Adam Bilzerian's brother, another poker player. His father, a Wall Street corporate raider who gave both of his sons trust monies, is the source of his half-Armenian ancestry. Bilzerian claims to have attended the University of Florida for four years, concentrating in both business and criminology. In 2014, Bilzerian filed a lawsuit against the Lone Survivor movie's creators. His lawsuit claimed that he committed $1 million in the movie in exchange for at least 80 words of conversation and eight minutes of screen time, but his part was ultimately cut to only one line and less than a minute. The lawsuit was ultimately dismissed, and Bilzerian reportedly earned $1.5 million as a result of the movie's box office success. His lawsuit sought $1.2 million, or the initial investment plus 20%.

During a fight in August 2014, model Vanessa Castano was kicked in the face by Bilzerian, who was later barred from a Miami nightclub. Assaulting Bilzerian's female partner, Castano and another woman, according to Bilzerian. In her lawsuit against Bilzerian for her injuries, Castano claimed, "There were two girls standing next to me at the table that were fighting. People started getting shoved, and I tried to separate them. Then Dan pushed me off the banquette, and once I fell, he kicked me in the face. In 2014, Bilzerian and pornstar Janice Griffith were parties to a court dispute. In April 2014, Griffith was a subject of a picture session with Bilzerian for Hustler magazine in which Bilzerian threw her over a roof and into a swimming pool. Griffith smacked the edge of the pool after falling short of it and breaking her foot. The 18-year-request old's for $85,000 from Bilzerian for compensation for her injuries was denied. Former Ignite CEO Curtis Heffernan filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Bilzerian in July 2020. Heffernan asserted that his dismissal was the result of his criticism of Bilzerian's alleged misuse of corporate cash to support his opulent lifestyle.

According to reports, Bilzerian had two heart attacks before the age of 32 as a result of his drug consumption .

In 2014, Bilzerian divided his time between residences in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles (California), Las Vegas (Nevada), and elsewhere. In 2018, he relocated to the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles .

On August 28, 2018, Bilzerian traveled to Armenia with his father Paul, brother Adam, and other family members to take the vows necessary to become citizens of that country and enlist in its armed forces.

He also traveled to the Republic of Artsakh, where he visited a shooting range and discharged firearms there. Because of the disputed status of Artsakh, the government of Azerbaijan protested his acts to the United States and summoned U.S. officials in response. William Gill, Chargé d'Affaires, is requested to take a formal protest letter for the State Department. Two years after Bilzerian was placed on the worldwide wanted list and granted an arrest warrant by a Baku court, he and other family members sent $250,000 to the Armenia Fund to aid Artsakh and Armenia in their fight against Azerbaijan in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Azerbaijan's decision to target the Armenian people, he added, left him "extremely sad."
