Who is Eilidh Child?
Eilidh Child is a Scottish track and field athlete representing Great Britain who specialises in the 400 metres hurdles.
Her senior breakthrough came in the 2010 Commonwealth Games representing Scotland, where she won the silver medal in the 400 metres hurdles.
She won her first senior medals in Great Britain colours at the 2013 European Athletics Indoor Championships; the gold medal with the British 4x400 metres relay team, and a silver medal behind team-mate Perri Shakes-Drayton in the individual 400 metres event. Child holds the Scottish indoor record for 400 metres.
