Who is Enakalle?
Enakalle was the énsi of Umma, a Sumerian city-state, during the Early Dynastic III period. He attacked nearby Lagash after ripping out the stele of Mesilim. Lagash's ruler Eannatum defeated Enakalle and made Umma a tributary state.
