Eugene Lee

Who is Eugene Lee?

Eugene Lee has more than 16 years of financial

management experience and leads CipherMax’s finance and legal teams.

Prior to joining CipherMax, Eugene served as controller at Crimson

Ventures, where he oversaw the company's financial operations and

assisted portfolio companies with financial planning.

Prior to Crimson, Eugene served as Controller of SS8 Networks, where

he coordinated the integration of financial systems following the

acquisition of ADC Telecom, a division of Centigram. He was earlier the

Assistant Controller at Valent USA Corporation, the agricultural

chemical subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical. During his tenure at Valent,

Eugene managed all finance functions of the company, and reported

directly to the Vice President of Finance from Japan. Eugene began his

career at Price Waterhouse where he worked on audit and tax planning

for a number of large clients, including Robert Mondavi, Chevron, Dodge

Cox, the Getty Family Trusts and the Hewlett Family entities.

Lee graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a

Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and later

received an MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
