Who is Filip Filipović?
Filip Filipović is a Serbian water polo player. He was a member of the Serbia men's national water polo team taking the Bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Gold and Silver medals at the 2009 Rome World Championship and 2011 Shanghai World Championship. He is currently playing for Pro Recco. He was voted best water polo male player for 2009 by European Swimming League. In 2010 he won the LEN Euroleague and the LEN Supercup with Pro Recco At the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai, Filipović was named Most Valuable Player. He was also voted by FINA magazine as the male water polo "Athlete of the Year". In 2012 Filipović won his third European gold medal at the European Championship in Eindhoven. He is 1,97m and weighs 100 kg.
