Who is Foley Beach?

Foley Beach is an American Anglican priest. He is the first bishop of the Anglican Diocese of the South, a newly formed diocese of the Anglican Church in North America, as well as rector of Holy Cross Anglican Church in Loganville, Georgia, which is the diocese's pro-cathedral.

Beach is a graduate of Georgia State University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and the University of the South. He was previously a priest in the Episcopal Church, which he left after the consecration of V. Gene Robinson in 2003. After the formation of ACNA, Beach was elected the leader of a group of parishes in the Southeast and was consecrated as the first bishop of the Diocese of the South on October 9, 2010.
