Who was Fred J. Hart?

Fred J. Hart was an American farmer, businessman, active in the field of radionics, established National Health Federation.

Hart was born in Linfield College, McMinnville, Oregon in 1888. In 1912 he operated a hotel in Tulare. In 1915 he married Eva Porter daughter of a wealthy rancher in Salinas. He had one daughter Margaret Elizabeth Hart. He was one of the founders of the Monterey County Farm Bureau similar state and national organizations. He was manager of KQW radio station in San Francisco and several other radio stations. He was chairman of the board of Electronics Medical Foundation for over 25 years. He organized the National Health Federation in 1956. He founded the NHF after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration compelled his company to cease marketing untested devices for medical treatment. He was believer of radionics and influenced by views of Albert Abrams after his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and treated in one of Abrams' clinics.
