Who was Frederick B. Ogden?
Frederick Beasley Ogden was an American attorney, jurist, and politician who served as the eighth mayor of Hoboken, New Jersey from 1865-1867. He was the grandson of United States Senator and New Jersey Governor Aaron Ogden and the son of New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Elias B. D. Ogden. Ogden graduated from Princeton University in 1847 and was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1850.
