Who is Frederick M. Dolan?

Frederick M. Dolan is Professor Emeritus of Rhetoric at the University of California, Berkeley and Professor of Humanities at the California College of the Arts in Oakland and San Francisco. He teaches and writes on the relationship between political theory and the philosophical tradition, theories of interpretation, aesthetics, and such figures as Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger, Hannah Arendt, and Michel Foucault.

At Princeton University, he studied under Sheldon S. Wolin and Richard Rorty.
