Who is Grace Kennedy?

Grace Kennedy is a British singer and television presenter who was born at Montego Bay, Jamaica on 2 March 1958. She first came into the public eye after winning TV talent show Opportunity Knocks. She was subsequently signed up by the BBC to present her own Saturday night prime time entertainment show, The Grace Kennedy Show, which ran for six series from 1981-1983. Guests on the show included Bruce Forsyth and Derek Griffiths. She has also appeared on The Royal Variety Performance, Live From Her Majesty's, and Magnum, PI. Grace starred in the 2005 UK production of Thoroughly Modern Millie alongside Lesley Joseph, Elaine C Smith and Donna Steele.

She has a daughter from her first marriage to entrepreneur and philanthropist Robert Winsor MBE. Her second marriage to solicitor Nigel Angel in 1999 was the subject of a six page feature in Hello Magazine. Over the last decade Grace founded wedding and event planning business which organises high end luxury/ celebrity parties and weddings. In June 2011 she organised the wedding of Vincent & Carla Kompany. She is the managing director of Mayfair Luxury Weddings and Mayfair Luxury Events.
